One of our favourite summer getaway destinations is Roberts Creek, on the Sunshine Coast. This is a common place to see the Great Blue Heron. This photo was taken on a rocky beach west of the townsite looking into the sun, giving it a silhouette feel. This was a lucky moment where the heron hopped from one rock to another, without fully taking off
